Philip Kotler is an economist, author, consultant and professor. He studied economics at the University of Chicago and holds a PhD in economics and social sciences from MIT. He is a world expert and reference in marketing.
He is a writer of multiple academic articles and author of books such as "Market Your Way to Growth", "Marketing 3.0", "Kotler's Marketing Guide" and "Marketing Management Analysis, Planning, Implementation and Control", the most widely read and applied marketing book in graduate schools worldwide. He is also an advisor to Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, General Electric, AT&T, Honeywell, Bank of America and Merck, among others, and advises governments around the world on the development and positioning of skills and resources to face global competition. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Drucker Foundation and a professor at Northwestern University.
Among his accolades, he has been named a marketing thought leader by the American Marketing Association, received the Paul Converse Award, received the Charles Coolidge Parlin Marketing Research Award and was named Marketing Professional of the Year by Sales and Marketing Executives International.
