Nicola Mendelsohn is an entrepreneur, executive and publicist. She studied drama and literature at the University of Leeds and specialized in Marketing and Business. She is a world leader in innovation and advertising.
She is the Global Vice President of Meta Group (formerly Facebook). She has extensive experience in the advertising industry. She was executive chairman at Karmarama, vice chairman of Grey London and board director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, among other experiences. She was the first female president of the Institute of Practitioners in British Advertising and is the industry chair of the Creative Industries Council, which advises the British government.
Among her awards, she received an Honorary Doctorate of the Arts from the University of Leeds and was named International Woman to Watch by Advertising Age. She is also coordinator of the Follicular Lymphoma Foundation.
