Yuval Noah Harari is a historian, philosopher and author of the international bestsellers Sapiens. A Brief History of Humanity, Homo Deus. A Brief History of Tomorrow, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, and the series Sapiens. A Graphic History and Unstoppable. His books, translated into 65 languages, have sold more than 40 million copies and he is considered one of today's most influential public intellectuals.

Harari received his PhD from Oxford University in 2002 and is currently a professor in the Department of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2019, following the international success of his books, Yuval Noah Harari founded with his husband and original agent, Itzik Yahav, Sapienship, an organization focused on entertainment and education, whose mission is to encourage global conversation, pinpoint major challenges, and support the search for collective solutions.

In 2018 and 2020, Yuval Noah Harari delivered keynote lectures on the future of humanity on the center stage of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Harari regularly talks with heads of state about global issues and has held public discussions with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. He has also met with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Argentine President Mauricio Macri, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong. In 2018, Yuval gave the first TED Talk delivered through a digital avatar, and in 2019 a conversation was filmed between him and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, about technology and the future of society.

In addition, Harari lectures around the world on the topics covered in his books and lends his time and expertise to various organizations and audiences on a completely voluntary basis. He writes articles for various media outlets such as The Guardian, The Financial Times, The New York Times, Time and The Economist. During 2020 he wrote several articles and gave numerous interviews on the global coronavirus crisis, discussing the implications of the pandemic on major news channels including CNN or the BBC. In 2022 he published an opinion piece on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, making it the Guardian's most read opinion piece of all time. In 2021, CBS's 60 Minutes dedicated an episode to him.
