Abel Pintos

Abel Pintos is an Argentine singer-songwriter, performer, and producer recognized as one of the most popular figures in contemporary Argentine music. Over the course of his extensive artistic career, he has evolved from his folklore roots toward a style that incorporates pop, ballads, and melodic songs, developing his own musical identity and reaching audiences across different generations.

He began his career at a very young age and released his first works in the Argentine folk music genre. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire and developed an increasingly personal identity as a composer and performer. Albums such as *Sueño dorado*, *Abel*, *Único*, and *11*, among others, marked his growth and led him to perform regularly at festivals, theaters, stadiums, and major venues.

His career includes numerous Gardel Awards and various accolades from the Argentine music industry. Through a series of albums, tours, and collaborations, he has developed a particularly close relationship with his audience, combining his own compositions with interpretations of songs from the Argentine and Latin American folk repertoire, and maintaining a consistent presence in the national music scene.

In 2026, he received the Gardel Award for Best Contemporary Romantic Music Album for *Gracias a la Vida*, adding yet another accolade to his career. His artistic journey highlights creativity, perseverance, professional growth, and the development of an identity capable of evolving over time without losing touch with his roots or the audience he has built over decades.
