Rod Beckstrom is an author, executive, investor and entrepreneur. He studied economics and an MBA in business at Stanford University. He is a recognized expert in computer security.
He is founder and CEO of The Rod Beckstrom Group, a cybersecurity, internet and leadership consulting firm for businesses. He is also co-founder, chairman and investor of Cequence Security, a cybersecurity agency and is president and CEO of ICANN, a technology, information and internet company. He has an extensive background, among other experiences, he was the founder and director of the U.S. National Cybersecurity Center.
He is also a World Economic Forum expert, international speaker, international media commentator and author of several books, including co-author of the best-seller "The Starfish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations", among others.
