Ian Bremmer

Ian Bremmer is an American political scientist, author, lecturer, and investor, internationally recognized as one of the leading experts in global political risk analysis, geopolitics, and market forecasting. He is the founder and chairman of Eurasia Group, the world's leading political risk consultancy, and of GZERO Media, a communications company dedicated to explaining international events to global audiences.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University and earned his PhD in Political Science from Stanford University in 1994, specializing in Soviet foreign policy and post-Cold War geopolitical transitions. His innovative academic vision consisted of integrating the political risk variable into traditional methodologies of financial analysis and corporate investment.
