Vivian Lan

Vivian Lan is a business strategist and innovation leader, recognized for her work at the intersection of technology and social impact. Of Mexican origin, her career is a testament to a multidisciplinary approach, combining studies in design and art with a specialization in exponential technologies. This diverse background has enabled her to develop a unique perspective on addressing global challenges, demonstrating that creativity and collaboration are essential tools for building a better future.

Her career took a crucial turn when she became involved in social impact projects. In 2011, she launched a successful social media campaign to address the famine in Africa, raising $100,000 and delivering 40 tons of food and medical aid to 20,000 people. This experience led her to Singularity University in 2013, a prestigious institution founded by Google and NASA. There, she studied the use of exponential technologies to integrate them into humanitarian work, establishing her as an expert in the field.

After graduating, Vivian Lan became an ambassador for Singularity University in Mexico and later served as director of the SingularityU Mexico Summit in Jalisco. In this role, she has spearheaded an initiative to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. In addition, she has held leadership roles in government, such as Director of Innovation Ecosystems in the Office of the President of Mexico, and in the private sector, at organizations such as ExO Works and NAZCA Ventures.

Beyond her corporate work and her role at Singularity University, Vivian Lan is an active advocate for socially responsible innovation. She founded Uma School, a mindful Montessori institution that seeks to empower individuals to discover their purpose. Through her international conferences and workshops, Lan inspires diverse audiences to use technology not only to make life easier, but to improve it, tackling global challenges with creativity and a proactive vision.
