Gerry Garbulsky is a prominent Argentine science popularizer and cultural promoter, known for his work in organizing TEDx events and his role as director of TED en Español. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Garbulsky trained as a physicist, earning his degree in Physics at the University of Buenos Aires and completing a PhD in Physics at the Balseiro Institute. His passion for communication and outreach led him to seek innovative ways to share knowledge and foster dialogue in society.
Garbulsky is the founder and curator of TEDxRÃodelaPlata, one of the largest and most successful TEDx events in the world. Under his leadership, TEDxRÃodelaPlata has grown exponentially, attracting thousands of attendees and millions of online views, and has become a benchmark for other TEDx events in the region and globally.
In addition to his work with TEDx, Garbulsky is the director of TED en Español, a platform dedicated to the dissemination of ideas and talks in Spanish.
