Stephane Garelli is a teacher, author, executive, speaker and consultant. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Laussane. He is an expert in economics and competition of nations and companies.
He is a professor at the International Institute for Management Development and at the University of Lausanne. He is also founder and director of the World Competitiveness Yearbook, the annual analysis of the competitiveness of nations and companies that is a reference for governments and world leaders. In addition, he is a speaker at international events and forums.
He is also the author of numerous articles in the field of competitiveness, international trade and investment and has published several books, most notably "Top Class Competitors - How Nations, Firms and Individuals Succeed in the New World of Competitiveness" with Wiley.
