Sergio Rulicki

Sergio Rulicki is a prominent anthropologist, Ph.D. in Social Communication, and consultant, recognized for his expertise in Nonverbal Communication (NVC) and discourse analysis. He is one of the leading authorities in the Spanish-speaking world on the decoding and interpretation of body language, facial expressions, and gestures. Rulicki earned his bachelor’s degree in Anthropological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and his Ph.D. from Austral University, where his dissertation focused on the study of the human smile and its multiple emotional and social meanings. His interest in NVC arose from a need for self-analysis to understand the emotional dimensions of communication.

His research has resulted in seminal works on the subject, such as *Nonverbal Communication* and *The Smile Detective*. In these books, Rulicki explains the gestural and postural cues that are crucial for developing empathy, assertiveness, and leadership.
