Santiago Bilinkis

Santiago Bilinkis holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and graduated with a Gold Medal from the University of San Andrés. His career took off in the field of entrepreneurship in the 1990s. His first major project, which catapulted him to regional recognition, was the co-founding of Officenet, a company that became the largest office supplies firm in Argentina and Brazil. Officenet was later acquired by the U.S. giant Staples, a milestone that demonstrated his vision for scaling successful business models in the Latin American context.

After his time at Officenet, where he remained for a while following the acquisition, he continued in his role as a co-founder at other technology and internet companies, including the restaurant reservation platform Restorando and the electronics resale company Trocafone. These ventures solidified his reputation not only as a technologist, but also as an investor and strategist with the ability to transform traditional industries through innovative digital solutions.

In recent years, Bilinkis has devoted a significant portion of his time to outreach and education about the future. He is one of the main organizers of TEDxRíodelaPlata, one of the largest TEDx events in the world, and has become a highly sought-after speaker on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, the future of work, and digital transformation.
