Roberto Romero is a renowned creative technologist with over 20 years of experience, former founder of Future Lighthouse, entrepreneur, CEO and futurist. A pioneer in the metaverse and multi-awarded globally, Roberto Romero is one of the leading specialists in the creation of interactive content in immersive virtual and augmented reality (XR) media.
Roberto Romero's conferences stand out for their accurate vision of the future, and in them he invites the audience to reflect on the usefulness and advantages of immersive technology in the present. He has led 3 companies throughout his career, including Future Lighthouse, the company that has brought him international prestige. He is currently part of Accenture Song "Metaverse Continuum Business Group" as Creative Technologist where he works building the vision of the products and services that await us in the next revolution of telecommunications, the metaverse. In addition, he is an associate professor at several universities and institutions, such as Universidad Carlos III and U-tad University Center of Technology and Digital Art, among others, where he teaches his knowledge in the areas of storytelling and video games. He is also a tutor specialized in business development at the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI).
Roberto Romero has been named Young Entrepreneur of the Future by the Choiseul Institute in 2019 and 2020 and has been selected Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum to develop social impact projects.
