Anima Anandkumar is an engineer, scientist and professor. She studied electrical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, earned a PhD from Cornell University, and among other studies, was an IBM Fellow at Cornell and a postdoctoral fellow at MIT. She specializes in using artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems.
She is a leading-edge academic researcher with expertise in commercial and practical applications. She is director of machine learning research at NVIDIA and Bren Professor at Caltech. She is a former principal scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, a Microsoft Faculty Fellowship, a Google Faculty Award, and a number of other research and best paper awards. He has been featured in several documentaries and international media articles.
