Melina Furman is a specialist in creativity and innovation.
Melina Furman is a teacher, researcher, entrepreneur and author. She holds a PhD in Science Education from Columbia University, USA and a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. She is a specialist in creativity and innovation.
She is an assistant professor and researcher at the School of Education of the Universidad de San Andrés and assistant researcher at CONICET. She coordinates the area of academic improvement in Natural Sciences of the Bicentennial Schools project (IIPE-UNESCO and Universidad de San Andrés). She is also founder of the Asociación Civil Expedición Ciencia and teacher of the course on creativity and innovation at El Mundo de las Ideas. She has experience writing and hosting the science program for children La Casa de la Ciencia, from Paka Paka TV channel.
She is also co-author of the Biology curriculum design for Basic Secondary Education in the Province of Buenos Aires and author of other books, academic publications, curricular materials and scientific articles for teachers and students.
