Biography / Speaker Info
Mateo Salvatto is a young Argentine entrepreneur, technologist and thought leader, recognized for his pioneering work in the development of inclusive technology and his focus on the social impact of innovation. His trajectory is a clear example of how a passion for robotics and a deep social conscience, inspired by his mother's work as a teacher of the deaf, can transform the lives of thousands of people globally. With an optimistic vision and great leadership skills, Salvatto is a reference in the Latin American entrepreneurial ecosystem.
His career took off at an early age thanks to his interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) skills. At the age of 17, as an Electronics student, he was crowned National and International Robotics Champion in Israel, demonstrating his prodigious technical talent. However, his greatest contribution came with the creation of Háblalo, an application that works as a real-time translator for people with communication disabilities (deafness, autism, cerebral palsy, etc.). The application, which works offline and is free, assists more than 400,000 people in more than 50 countries.
Following the success of the app, he founded Asteroid Technologies, the company behind Háblalo. Salvatto defines Asteroid's mission as not just to make money, but to "help as many disabled people as possible completely free of charge." The company develops and integrates inclusive technologies and has been recognized by MIT for its humanitarian innovation. In addition, his success has led him to study for an MBA, complementing his technical expertise with management and team building.
In addition to his role as CEO, Mateo Salvatto is a sought-after author and speaker at technology and entrepreneurship events. His talks focus on purposeful entrepreneurship, technological literacy and the importance of inclusion. He is co-author of books such as La Batalla del Futuro and PaÃs de Mierda, where he offers reflections on optimism and the future of Argentina.
