Iván Zamorano is a former Chilean footballer, known for his goalscoring prowess and successful career both at club level and with the Chilean national team. He began his professional career with Cobresal before moving to Europe, where he left an indelible mark.
Zamorano became a star in Spain playing for Sevilla FC and later for Real Madrid, where he established himself as one of the most feared strikers in La Liga. At Real Madrid, he was the top scorer of the 1994-1995 season, winning the prestigious Pichichi Trophy. During his time at the club, he helped the team win the Spanish League in 1995 and the Copa del Rey in 1993.
