Adolfo Fernández is a Spanish executive and business consultant with expertise in internationalization and business strategy. Currently, Adolfo is Global Product Manager at Google, where he leads the Google Shopping SMB marketing strategy and operations from its global headquarters in Silicon Valley, California.
With extensive experience in business development and management of initiatives in the digital ecosystem, Adolfo joined Google as Business Development Manager for Spain and Portugal in 2015, where he led the company's new customer acquisition strategy in the region. In early 2018, he assumed the role of Internationalization Program Manager, and in 2019 he moved to San Francisco, to lead Google Shopping's SMB marketing strategy.
Passionate about the role that technology plays in the economy and society in general, Adolfo has participated in more than 200 conferences, including some of the most influential forums in the world, such as the United Nations or the World Trade Organization, to address issues related to digital transformation and globalization. Recently, Adolfo has been invited to join the World Economic Forum's network of experts as a reference in Retail, Consumer Goods, Lifestyle, and Digital Communications.
In addition to his current position at Google, Adolfo collaborates as an associate professor with some of the most prestigious educational organizations in the world, such as IE Business School or MIT, teaching workshops on digital transformation, innovation, Design Thinking and employability in the technology industry.
Adolfo holds a Master's Degree in International Management from the Instituto de Empresa (IE Business School), as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Santiago de Compostela.
