Matthew Mcconaughey is an actor and film and television producer. He enrolled in law school at the University of Texas at Austin and decided to change his vocation from lawyer to actor.
He is an internationally recognized actor for his appearances in films such as "Contact" (1997), "Magic Mike" (2012), "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013), "Dallas Buyers Club" (2013) and "Interstellar" (2014), among others. In addition, in October 2020 he published his autobiographical book "Greenlights" which debuted as number 1 on The New York Times Best Seller list.
Among the recognitions of his career, he won an Oscar, a Golden Globe Award and a SAG Award for Best Actor for his work in "Dallas Buyers Club".
