Jim Noble is an executive, teacher and speaker. He is one of the world's foremost information technology leaders.
He is CEO of a security company and a director of The Advisory Council, where he leads an organization of more than 350 experts who provide technical and professional advice to senior IT executives. In addition, he has served as president of the Society for Information Management, a U.S. professional association for IT executives. He has extensive experience leading teams in a variety of industry sectors, most notably as global head of IT for BP, general manager of IT for Merrill Lynch, and vice president and CIO for Altria Group and AOL Time Warner. He is also an adjunct professor and visiting lecturer at several universities.
Among his awards, he won the Accenture award for innovation in IT and was chosen by "Forbes" magazine as the seventh most influential executive in technology.
