Who is Diego Sehinkman?
Diego Sehinkman is an Argentine journalist, psychologist, writer, and host who has forged a unique career by combining two disciplines that run through much of his work: journalism and psychology. His perspective on current events is characterized by a focus on uncovering the ideas, beliefs, and motivations behind the decisions and behaviors of his interviewees.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Buenos Aires and also studied journalism at TEA, where he later taught. He worked as a psychologist at mental health institutions, including Borda Hospital, and in private practice. At the same time, he began his career in the media as a comedy writer for *El show de la noticia*, hosted by Roberto Pettinato, and later worked in television on *Duro de domar*.
In 2008, he began writing for LA NACION, where he authored columns that combined current events, politics, psychology, and humor. Among these, the most notable were “Terapia” (“People Suffer Up There, Too”), “Realismo trágico,” and the interview series “Políticos al diván.” He also published the books ¿Qué tienen los políticos en la cabeza? and Políticos al diván. From 2016 to 2019, he hosted *Terapia de noticias* on LN+.
In 2020, he joined TN as the host of *Sólo una vuelta más*, a program covering current political, economic, and social issues, where he developed a style that combines interviews, analysis, and debate. His dual background allows him to explore not only what the key figures in the news say and do, but also the ideas and mechanisms that drive their decisions. As a speaker and moderator, he brings this interdisciplinary perspective to discussions on communication, behavior, leadership, and social reality.
