Daniel Sieberg is an executive, journalist, author and speaker. He holds a bachelor's degree in writing from the University of Victoria and a master's degree in journalism with a specialization in technology from the University of British Columbia. He is one of the world's foremost technology experts and speakers.
He is responsible for the innovation team for Google's News Lab, a team focused on bringing technology and media together. He is also head of media outreach and senior manager for Google and its spokesperson in New York. He has experience as a correspondent and anchor for CBS News, CNN, ABC News, BBC News, The Discovery Channel, Oprah.com and The Washington Post, among others. He also has extensive experience as an international speaker at forums and business events.
Among his accolades, he was nominated for a television Emmy Award for his work as a science and technology correspondent/anchor and was a Peabody Award winner for his work covering Hurricane Katrina for CNN.
