Biography / Speaker Info
Andy Kusnetzoff is an Argentine journalist, producer, actor and host, recognized as one of the most influential figures in contemporary Argentine radio and television. Born in Buenos Aires in 1970, his style is characterized by a mixture of irreverence, depth and sensitivity, which has led him to connect in a unique way with diverse audiences. He is the son of the famous sexologist Juan Carlos Kusnetzoff ("Dr. K") and psychoanalyst Esther Buchholz, both of whom have occasionally participated in his programs.
After studying journalism at TEA, Andy rose to fame on television in the late 90's as a reporter for the iconic show Caiga Quien Caiga (CQC). In this role, his irreverence and transgressive style quickly made him popular. However, his consolidation as a communicator and opinion leader took place on the radio. In 2002, he created and began to host Perros de la Calle, a program that became a true radio phenomenon. The program, which aired for almost two decades on Radio Metro and is currently broadcast on Urbana Play FM, redefined the morning radio format with its mix of humor, intimate interviews and general interest topics.
In television, Kusnetzoff demonstrated his versatility by hosting various programs, but his second great success was PH, Podemos Hablar (Telefe), a cycle that premiered in 2017 and became one of the most watched programs on Saturday prime time. PH's format stands out for generating a "meeting point" where celebrities and public figures share anecdotes and deep reflections in a tone of vulnerability and closeness, revealing a more sensitive side of Andy's personality.
Throughout his career, Andy Kusnetzoff has been distinguished with numerous MartÃn Fierro awards, including the MartÃn Fierro de Oro en Radio in 2018, consolidating his position as an indisputable reference. His ability to transform himself, going from rebellious newscaster to empathetic host, and his commitment to producing quality content, keep him as one of the essential and most respected voices in Argentina's media.
