Malala Yousafzai is an activist, public speaker and lecturer. She studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University. She is a world reference for human and women's rights.
She is recognized for her movement with international support for civil rights, especially women's rights in Pakistan, where the Taliban regime establishes discriminatory and repressive rules against women and minorities. She is also a human rights communicator and speaker at major international events. In addition, she collaborates with media all over the world, "Time" magazine included her for several years as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Among her many recognitions, she won the Nobel Peace Prize (2014) at the age of 17, becoming the youngest person to access the award; she was the first winner of the National Youth Peace Prize, which now bears her name, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, among others.
