Isabel Garro is a recognized expert in sustainable development. Her extensive experience in this field has led her to co-lead Spain's commitments in this area, from the front line of the main competent bodies, as Special Advisor to the High Commissioner for the 2030 Agenda in the Presidency of the Government of Spain, or as Director General of the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact for 14 years.
Through her lecturing facet, Isabel Garro examines the main challenges and strategies posed by the goals of the 2030 Agenda, addressing in all their complexity the key elements of sustainable development, as well as satellite topics such as sustainable investments and impact investments, competitive social transformation, sustainable innovation, intrapreneurship with stakeholders, stakeholder management, management of alliances and public-private partnerships, culture, ethics, purpose and CSR.
Isabel Garro is Founding Partner of 3a4b, a consulting firm specializing in business and sustainability, and Senior Executive Advisor for sustainable development at Planner Media. She is also an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at IE Business School.
