Andrés Velázquez is an entrepreneur, professor and lecturer. He is an engineer in Cybernetics and Computer Systems at La Salle University in Mexico and is an expert in cybersecurity and computer crime investigation.
He is founder and president of MaTTica, a strategic cybersecurity company in Mexico and Colombia that has the first digital research laboratory in Latin America. He also sits on cybersecurity committees of companies in the financial sector and trains boards of directors on this topic. He has also collaborated with Interpol, the UN and the US Secret Service in the investigation of cybercrime.
As a lecturer he has stood out for being a first level speaker for governments and private organizations on security, digital investigations and computer forensics. He has obtained different recognitions in international media for his expertise.
