Dorival Júnior

Dorival Júnior, whose full name is Dorival Silvestre Júnior, is a prominent Brazilian soccer coach and former player. As a player, Dorival had a remarkable career as a midfielder, excelling at clubs such as Guarani, Palmeiras and Grêmio during the 1980s and 1990s.

After retiring as a player, Dorival Júnior began his coaching career in 2003, managing Figueirense. Since then, he has had an extensive and successful career, leading numerous first division clubs in Brazil, including Internacional, Santos, Vasco da Gama, Flamengo and Palmeiras.
